MCA JUDGES

MCA judges are carefully selected. Our judges have made positive contributions to local and international communities as individuals or through organizations. We seek judges who appreciate the full value of women in their everyday lives and are able to glean these qualities in the MCA candidates.

We hand pick 5 to 7 judges to evaluate the candidates for the competition. We do our best to represent diversity on the panel so that there’s consideration of the candidates’ various perspectives.

Our judging panel includes individuals from the below categories:

  • Artist/Celebrity
  • News/Radio Personality
  • Government Official/Community Advocate
  • Pageant Queen
  • Prominent Business Woman
  • Pageant Coach
  • Women’s Non-Profit Organization Representative

Judging Criteria

Corporate Interview – 40%

Each candidate participates in a 5-7 minute interview with our esteemed judges. The judges ask a series of questions to learn more about the candidate’s professional background, successes, talents, goals and ambitions. Scoring is assessed specifically on her charm, self-confidence, ability to communicate effectively and the substance of her answers.

Corporate Community – 30%

Each candidate participates in behind the scenes interview-style video segment where each candidate dresses for the job of Ms. Corporate America. Scoring is based on each candidate’s answers to questions pertaining to the importance of corporate community, their community platform/non-profit initiative they are passionate about, and how they will give back to the community as the new Ms. Corporate America. Scoring is assessed specifically on quality of her interview answers, creativity of response, and knowledge of platform/non-profit initiative.

Corporate Elegance – 20%

The most glamorous portion of the competition that allows each candidate to show off her elegance and formal fashion. Judges are looking for her to captivate everyone with her overall appearance and “wow” them with her keen sense of style. Scoring is assessed specifically on her confidence, poise, choice of accessories, and of course, the actual design and fit of her gown of choice.

Corporate Philosophy Q&A – 10%

Each candidate is given 30 seconds to answer an on-stage question and is presented the opportunity to share her unique perspective, core values, and personality. Scoring is assessed specifically on her articulation, quality of response, confidence, and appearance. This is the time to voice why the candidate should be crowned Ms. Corporate America!
